Babies on the Blog!

Newborn Twin Photography

I had the wonderful opportunity to spend a few hours with the cutest newborn twins a few weeks ago.  Meet Layla and Olivia.  I had the benefit of working with fellow newborn photographer Laura King as my assistant.  Laura and I shot this session in the comfort of our client’s home.  The convenience of in-home photography is definitely something my clients appreciate! We understand how difficult is it to leave the house days after delivery.  We made a great team and ended up with these beautiful images that I know mom and dad will cherish for years to come.

A couch in a field….and a horse!

Vintage Country Photography Session

I was really excited about this session.  My client has land outside the city with some horses and asked if we could shoot there.  Of course I jumped at the offer.  When I arrived at the location, my client had brought this beautiful gray couch, a side table and fresh flowers….we had an outdoor living room set!  The story she told me is that a family member was going to throw the couch away!  She rescued it and had it refurbished! On top of that, I couldn’t have asked for better light.  The beautiful sunset provided the perfect backlit scene.  The horse wasn’t really into the photos, so the trainer had to step in and “hide” under the couch for the final shot.
